Esperanto Gallery is a space running as an art gallery as well as a collective space for artist to come work and be inspired by its environment. The notion of its name is based of the language called, intended in the 1800’s to be a universal second language for international communication. With this in mind, the client is seeking to make the language of art accessible to a new audience of art admirers and collectors, as well open the doors for new artists and provide services such as artist branding and coaching.
The project consisted of creating a logo that related back to the notion of conversations. By combining the shape of a speech bubble/callout with an custom designed ‘E’, and using a monochromatic palette, this logo serves as the main visual for the entire Esperanto brand ID. From that, a website offering a virtual gallery, integrated e-commerce function [Shopify] as well as collecting membership sign ups and payments was developed.
A wide range of branded marketing collateral included social media graphics, YouTube video intros and outros, event flyers for social media and Eventbrite and merchandise labelling.
